帆走経 巻六 The way to training
「師よ、修行の仕方について詳しく弁じて下さい」
「セーリングの修行は、修行者達が互いに激励し、助け合うことによって進んでいく。ここにこそ修行の意味と本体がある。セーリングを学ぶ者は、堂（クラブ）を離れてはいけない。集合乃至解散の帆走法の全てを取り上げることはしない、
堂に定められたやり方、指導に従えばよいからだ」
｢師よ、一人でやるより、クラブで仲間と一緒に走った方が学ぶことも多く、楽しいです」
｢輪空よ、次に私は、舎利子(シャーリプトラ）のように考えて分かろうとする若者達の為に説く。感じられるまで乗りなさい。セーリングの技術は詰まる所馴れでしかない。馴れでしかないのだが、先達の工夫した基本を知れば修行はより早く進むだろう。
又急いだり、無理したり、慌てたりしてはいけない。
そこには必ず誤りが含まれているからだ。海はいつもそこに在って修行者達に修と証を与えるだろう」

"Rinku, next I preach for the young people who are trying to understand by thinking like Shariputra. Ride until you feel it. The art of sailing is nothing more than getting used to it.
However, if you learn the basics devised by your predecessors, you will be able to progress faster. Also, you should not rush, push yourself too hard, or panic, as there will always be mistakes.The sea will always be there to provide training and proof to the practitioners.” Seii Rinku
